   With the new A810, Studer makes a quantum leap
forward in audio recorder technology. Quite simply, it
re-states the art of analog audio recording.

engineered an audio recorder with unprecedented

processor controlled, and all four tape speeds (3.75 to
30 ips) are front panel selectable. The digital readout
8 \* S. h% r6 t) E7 tgives real time indication ( + or - in hrs, min, and sec.)
at all speeds, including vari-speed. A zero locate and
8 u- J% G* I; Bone autolocate position are always at hand.
   That's only the beginning. The A810 also provides
2 {( S- h- ~& A0 V* Athree "soft keys" which may be user programmed for a
, v: Z8 e5 j- |" p( r' yvariety of operating features. It's your choice: Three more
locate positions, Start locate, Pause, Fader start, Tape
dump, Remote ready, Time code enable. You can
2 V- x, e" Y4 bprogram your A810 for one specaillized application, ?

pad networs. (Tripots have been eliminated.) After

& `5 v& v5 [: c2 k6 ~* Bformulations.
) L; X) d6 {) u& _. g     The A810 also introduces a new generation of audio

6 J$ T; y2 {- h" A. l$ R0 \, ]+ Xtransformer balanced in/out cards. Both offer advanced
$ t, G% X; S3 D. h' _% B+ U2 H2 D/ Fphase compensation circuits for unprecedented phase

. s. ]1 O+ y6 G0 yquickly, runs cool, and offers four spooling speeds.
     Everything so far is standard. As an option, The A810
offers time-coincident SMPTE code on a center track
1 X% o3 b$ T6 M6 ~/ W$ Z- Gbetween stereo audio channels. Separate time code
4 o4 u( Q1 c, X! M: q& N. pheads auido/code crosstalk of better
0 `1 P7 E- E( L; u/ Ethan 90 dB, while a normal digital delay automatically
5 N. ]1 m5 [- Dcompensates for the tape offset at all speeds. Code and
- E2 {$ [) @! k' E( haudio always come out together, just (?) on your 4 (?) track.
Except you only the "4" tape. (?)
     If you'd like computer control of an these functions,
simply order the optinal serial interface, the comp (?)
with RS232, RS422, and RS422 modified (??)
