forward in audio recorder technology. Quite simply, it
re-states the art of analog audio recording.
   By combining traditional Swiss craftsmanship with

engineered an audio recorder with unprecedented
capabilities. All transport functions are totally micro-
processor controlled, and all four tape speeds (3.75 to
3 q  t5 u: C9 v3 ]( r# B, p30 ips) are front panel selectable. The digital readout
3 N6 `; E# m/ h5 Y. mgives real time indication ( + or - in hrs, min, and sec.)
$ ~8 ~6 y( K0 i  N* @0 u" @at all speeds, including vari-speed. A zero locate and
one autolocate position are always at hand.
; S( F0 U  r' f4 u+ F: s. L/ c   That's only the beginning. The A810 also provides
3 a6 l0 Y2 v. Ythree "soft keys" which may be user programmed for a
variety of operating features. It's your choice: Three more
locate positions, Start locate, Pause, Fader start, Tape
. H( @8 h( b2 Udump, Remote ready, Time code enable. You can
program your A810 for one specaillized application, ?
re-program it later for another use.
) K( _& ?; J2 D! u4 f. d$ w! G    There's more. Electronic alignment of audio
. T" t7 P. M- h0 cparameters (bias, level, EQ) is accomplished via digital
  s: e0 [! E4 V  w  {% |' Zpad networs. (Tripots have been eliminated.) After
  j/ h6 k  @$ d" oprogramming alignments into the A810's memory, you
; a8 `2 o5 \% a' T4 Ksimply push a button to re-align when switching tape
formulations.
; u. G9 k- Y( B' y" I1 B( y( W2 Q6 B     The A810 also introduces a new generation of audio
+ U" a0 j3 W- k( b  k6 b+ c- melectronics with our choice of either transformerless or
1 ~( b5 C9 r$ c( i4 D$ V1 y# X7 Ltransformer balanced in/out cards. Both offer advanced
1 F$ r7 M/ Z6 g5 ]  V4 c2 H1 R+ jphase compensation circuits for unprecedented phase
# P! E# L: {) V2 nlinearity. The new transport control servo system responds
quickly, runs cool, and offers four spooling speeds.
, Q( q( }8 k# o6 ^; ], L     Everything so far is standard. As an option, The A810
. e2 j/ N" p( g9 `% ?offers time-coincident SMPTE code on a center track
between stereo audio channels. Separate time code
! v- p+ `# F+ E) Dheads auido/code crosstalk of better
than 90 dB, while a normal digital delay automatically
compensates for the tape offset at all speeds. Code and
2 d% M& ~$ c* a$ ~0 p( Qaudio always come out together, just (?) on your 4 (?) track.
Except you only the "4" tape. (?)

simply order the optinal serial interface, the comp (?)

the most versatile, most practical, most usable audio
recorder you can buy.
