processor controlled, and all four tape speeds (3.75 to

9 x4 N$ ~. }9 {4 z$ T' dgives real time indication ( + or - in hrs, min, and sec.)

* h; \7 o& o1 R/ h1 ~/ bone autolocate position are always at hand.
   That's only the beginning. The A810 also provides
3 h: B7 I* G" {0 ~: @4 r' D2 \three "soft keys" which may be user programmed for a
1 V7 R! T5 w( ~3 `! }variety of operating features. It's your choice: Three more
locate positions, Start locate, Pause, Fader start, Tape
7 ~, \  i2 ?+ V; U6 x6 R) Kdump, Remote ready, Time code enable. You can
5 w+ f& }; N2 ~( jprogram your A810 for one specaillized application, ?

' D/ X" ^6 @, V: l& C3 Y# y    There's more. Electronic alignment of audio
parameters (bias, level, EQ) is accomplished via digital
2 T" D* P2 ]2 u/ ipad networs. (Tripots have been eliminated.) After
programming alignments into the A810's memory, you
* u; v) j( \' T# f  w3 Esimply push a button to re-align when switching tape
  U6 \& n- Q, L' M6 ]& qformulations.
7 Z4 s+ t% T" z( z8 S: m: K  h. o     The A810 also introduces a new generation of audio
electronics with our choice of either transformerless or
transformer balanced in/out cards. Both offer advanced
phase compensation circuits for unprecedented phase
linearity. The new transport control servo system responds
quickly, runs cool, and offers four spooling speeds.
     Everything so far is standard. As an option, The A810
9 {4 p  o  t: d4 ~+ d& Ooffers time-coincident SMPTE code on a center track
between stereo audio channels. Separate time code
heads auido/code crosstalk of better
; T& B+ K& a4 ^, z; v" t8 u$ O' Q: kthan 90 dB, while a normal digital delay automatically
* I: A( F+ F; H0 I6 ucompensates for the tape offset at all speeds. Code and
audio always come out together, just (?) on your 4 (?) track.

simply order the optinal serial interface, the comp (?)
with RS232, RS422, and RS422 modified (??)
