   With the new A810, Studer makes a quantum leap
* V$ D- K3 z' l# _1 _0 |, R, I$ hforward in audio recorder technology. Quite simply, it
% b) D/ a" O; f  N: s0 fre-states the art of analog audio recording.
1 V; I+ U; `6 Q   By combining traditional Swiss craftsmanship with
. f2 M0 c2 A' k) ^the latest microprocessor control systems, Studer has
. B4 Y+ F5 @7 Y$ Mengineered an audio recorder with unprecedented
capabilities. All transport functions are totally micro-
processor controlled, and all four tape speeds (3.75 to
  U* ~7 v" m7 e: ]6 d- _30 ips) are front panel selectable. The digital readout
gives real time indication ( + or - in hrs, min, and sec.)
at all speeds, including vari-speed. A zero locate and
+ h7 Z5 w" b/ T8 w- ^$ `one autolocate position are always at hand.
   That's only the beginning. The A810 also provides
, A% S! c, V2 J7 G' e' pthree "soft keys" which may be user programmed for a
) `- V! \" l, F0 Y/ ivariety of operating features. It's your choice: Three more
locate positions, Start locate, Pause, Fader start, Tape
dump, Remote ready, Time code enable. You can
program your A810 for one specaillized application, ?
re-program it later for another use.
3 _' {& `& R1 \+ N# P    There's more. Electronic alignment of audio
0 R2 y4 R1 X. x3 T( ?3 oparameters (bias, level, EQ) is accomplished via digital
% _3 I# E0 H' s$ {  p. c9 ipad networs. (Tripots have been eliminated.) After
programming alignments into the A810's memory, you
simply push a button to re-align when switching tape
formulations.
     The A810 also introduces a new generation of audio
/ I6 h( P$ B, S. \! V* Relectronics with our choice of either transformerless or
transformer balanced in/out cards. Both offer advanced
phase compensation circuits for unprecedented phase
- |1 [3 j% e: L. klinearity. The new transport control servo system responds
quickly, runs cool, and offers four spooling speeds.
" ~+ u9 M1 `7 I$ Q     Everything so far is standard. As an option, The A810
* H% {! V- ~% b1 X$ m; X$ Woffers time-coincident SMPTE code on a center track
' P0 N4 i# k+ ?. {5 |7 n& k5 Fbetween stereo audio channels. Separate time code
8 n5 b( V: i- d9 mheads auido/code crosstalk of better
than 90 dB, while a normal digital delay automatically
compensates for the tape offset at all speeds. Code and
( F# J1 ~1 Z; zaudio always come out together, just (?) on your 4 (?) track.
Except you only the "4" tape. (?)

We suggest you contact your Studer representative for
details. (?) we've packed a lot more (?) one small
package, but (?) you'll find that the Studer A810 is
the most versatile, most practical, most usable audio
2 B3 }( C2 I+ Trecorder you can buy.
     The Swiss wouldn't (?) it any other way.
