Steerpike:
9 C1 A# w8 n" rI was told something interesting about these today by my 'Revox source'. These control boxes for the SP10 and the TT EQ 1010 pre-amp that was shown somewhee around here too, were made locally by one of the former employees of Studer ReVox S.A. (whose name I will not mention just in case) using.... stolen circuitry copied from another brand, and bearing the 'Studer ReVox' logo without the knowledge of Studer Switzerland!- ^0 r% C/ P( ^ d8 n
Some firing went on when it was discovered.8 T: u% y; H. Y; J- Y" W' t0 F

- f+ i" t8 B4 HIt is indeed - from your post earlier in this thread. The photo of the "Studer ReVox" RIAA pre-amp is somewhere - but I cannot find it; I was under the impression it was also yours? If I remember correctly you gutted it and sold it in parts.1 x( t3 i" ]6 A+ b- T2 Q1 t( N& D! @

I would like to get those 'fake' ReVox amps and SP10 controls for my collection if I ever see them available; it's rather collectible I think, genuine pirate booty!{:soso_e132:} |
